Two years ago, Shibuya was ravaged by a biological terrorist attack using the deadly Ua virus. Maria Osawa was saved when her father inoculated her against the virus, but is left with partial amnesia from the shock. She works as a cameraman when she reunites with a girl named Canaan who is a gifted assassin with synesthesia in Shanghai, China. Along with friends they find along the way, they uncover the dark secrets behind the Ua virus and confront the terrorist leader named Alphard, who claims her true name is also Canaan…
This series’ downfall may have been the fact that it was too short to fully develop. If you have to be told two characters are friends, but constantly feel no real sense of bonding, you know character development is lacking. I found the development to supporting characters such as Santana and Hakko to be much more interesting.
