Sock’em-Bop’em Robots + Lesbian Chicks = Win. That about sums up this series. Between the poor character development and half-assed attempt to keep clothes from popping out a boob, this anime is not the least bit mentally stimulating. Notice I said mentally, and not physically- because I can pretty much guess why a lot of teenage males would think this is the best thing to ever hit the air.
The story tells of the responsibilities two priestesses must endure to save the world from the Orochi, and their daily struggles as high schoolers and awkward friends/lovers. While the story seemed like it came from the mind of an 8 year old, the music and visuals were great. I find that the two main female characters’ relationship should have been better developed, but at least it ended with the right tone.
