Monkey D. Luffy and his crew set out for adventure in search of the One Piece, a treasure hidden by the legendary Pirate King Gold Roger before he was executed. Along the way they meet new friends and foes while uncovering the mysteries of the world.
If it weren’t for the poor pacing issues this anime has (due to the manga not being too far ahead) it would have received a higher rating. Flashback much? Overall I love the world building and theorizing about the over-arcing mystery the series holds.
