Classic old school Anime involving suped up cars, suspense (as much suspense as 60’s animation can give you), mysterious racers that try to kill you, and fun.
For the time and in that moment it was cool. I remember watching it as a kid and following the whole story. It’s funny when you grow up and realize how gullible you are as a kid with the “subtle” hints are right there in the show. I’m referring to Racer X being Speed’s brother of course. I should have seen that coming from a mile away.
